Bring a coach on board, get paid for a year
If you already talk to coaches about how they track their matches, this pays you for the conversations you were having anyway. You send them a link, they subscribe, you keep 70% of what they pay for the next twelve months.
Last updated: 3 August 2026
What you earn
70% of every payment, for 12 months from the coach's first one. Not just the first month. If they stay a year, you get paid all year.
These are per coach, not totals. Every coach you bring earns you their own commission, and nothing is capped.
- Pro monthly ($29): $20.30 a month for that coach, for up to 12 months. $243.60 if they stay the year.
- Pro yearly ($290): $203 for that coach, paid once when they subscribe.
- Club: priced per programme, so commission is agreed with you before you introduce them. Club deals are the biggest ones we do, so talk to us first rather than sending a link.
What that adds up to
Per coach multiplied out, assuming each one stays the full twelve months:
| Coaches you bring | If they take Pro monthly | If they take Pro yearly |
|---|---|---|
| 1 coach | $243.60 | $203 |
| 5 coaches | $1,218 | $1,015 |
| 10 coaches | $2,436 | $2,030 |
| 25 coaches | $6,090 | $5,075 |
| 50 coaches | $12,180 | $10,150 |
The honest version of that table: it assumes nobody cancels. A volleyball season runs about eight months, so ten coaches who subscribe in September and stop when the season ends is closer to $1,624 than $2,436. Plan around the lower number and treat the rest as upside.
We know 70% is aggressive. It is deliberate. We would rather the people who bring us coaches earn more than we do in the first year, because after twelve months those coaches are usually still here and still coding.
Who this is a good fit for
This works when you already have the trust. It does not work as a link dropped into a comment section.
- Coaches with an audience. If you post drills, tactics or match breakdowns, your followers are exactly the people who need this.
- Club and programme directors. You talk to other clubs constantly, and you know which ones are still writing stats on paper.
- Statisticians and analysts. You already know what side-out percentage is worth. Explaining it is half your job.
- Coaches already using Volleyball Code. You are the most convincing voice we have, because you can show your own match instead of describing ours.
How it works
- You email us and we agree the terms. No form, no waiting list. We want to know who your audience is, because that tells us whether this is worth your time.
- We invite you in Creem. You will get an email invitation. Sign in at affiliates.creem.io with that same address and your link is at the top of the page, in the form
creem.io/affiliate?code=YOURCODE. Creem is our merchant of record, so it tracks the clicks and conversions and splits the commission itself. Nothing to install. - You share it. We will send you screenshots, a short clip of a rally being coded by voice, and a few sentences you can paste and edit. Use them or ignore them.
- You get paid. Your Creem portal shows clicks, conversions and pending against paid commission, so you are never waiting on us for a number. Creem pays you directly. Commission is settled in euros, so if you are quoting the dollar figures above to your audience, the amount that reaches you moves with the exchange rate.
The details, so nothing is a surprise
- 60-day cookie. If someone clicks your link and subscribes any time in the next 60 days, it counts as yours. Coaches rarely buy the day they first hear about something, especially mid-season.
- Last click wins. If a coach clicks two different affiliate links, the most recent one gets the commission.
- Refunds are clawed back. Every plan carries a 14-day money-back guarantee. If a coach refunds, the commission on that payment is reversed. It has to work this way, or the programme pays for refunds.
- Twelve months, then it ends. The clock starts at their first payment. After that they are simply our customer.
- You cannot refer yourself. Your own subscription, a second account of your own, or accounts you control do not earn commission.
- Terms can change, with notice. Commission is read at the moment of each payment, so a change would affect future payments including renewals, never anything already paid to you. We will tell you before it happens. At 70% we are being deliberately generous while the programme is young, and we would rather say that plainly than quietly cut it later.
What is not allowed
Short list, and none of it is unusual.
- No bidding on our name. Do not buy Google Ads on "Volleyball Code" or close variants. You would be charging us to reach people who were already looking for us.
- No spam. No unsolicited email, no mass DMs, no comment dumping. If it would annoy you, it will annoy a coach.
- No pretending to be us. Do not build a page that looks like our site, use our logo as your own profile, or describe yourself as an official account.
- No inventing features. Tell people what the app does, not what you wish it did. Our own pricing page is the source of truth, and we would rather lose a sale than set a coach up for disappointment.
- No coupon site listings. Discount aggregators intercept people who were already about to buy.
Breaking these ends the arrangement and voids unpaid commission. We would much rather have that written down here than have the conversation later.
Being straight with you about where we are
Volleyball Code is young. Paid plans have only just opened, so you would be among the first affiliates rather than joining something already running. That means the terms are still ours to shape together, and it means we are going to be genuinely useful to you: you can reach the person who built the product, not a partner manager.
It also means we would rather have five people who actually coach than five hundred link farms.
How to apply
Email contact@volleyballcode.com with the word Affiliate in the subject, and tell us:
- who you are and which teams or level you work with
- where you would share it, whether that is a following, a club network or your federation contacts
- whether you already use Volleyball Code yourself
A real person answers, usually within one working day.
Questions
Do I need to use the app to be an affiliate? No, but the ones who do convert far better, because they can show a real match instead of a screenshot.
What if the coach I refer starts on the free plan? The cookie lasts 60 days from their click, so if they upgrade inside that window it still counts. Free accounts on their own earn nothing, since nobody has paid anything.
Can I offer my audience a discount? Ask us. We can set up a code for you where it makes sense, particularly for a club or a federation.
When do I get paid? Creem handles payouts directly to you. We will confirm the schedule and the minimum threshold when we set up your link, because that part is Creem's, not ours.
